Balance Meeting Completed-Trades Made

Gentlemen,

The annual process of balancing teams has taken place and we have a record number of players re-assigned to new teams.

This season has seen a bizarre number of season-ending injuries and have been fortunate to have the assistance of the Blue Division to fill some openings.These injuries have also greatly complicated the balance process and several teams do not resemble the orignal roster drafted. This is very likely part of the reason that this year’s meeting saw so many trades taking place.

Trades are neither initated or “forced” by the Convenor, rather the Captains discuss their specific “needs” and transfers are discussed based often on position and playing style. For this reason, we have some of the trades may seem baffling, but the Captains know their teams and they all take PARITY as a serious responsibility. Everyone will have an opinion on trades; only time will tell how effective the movement will be in increasing the competitivness of the division.

Remember, this process is intregal to the BOHC procedures we all rely on and we need everyone’s cooperation.
