Gentlemen,
What a fantastic final Playoff Championship was played between Team Red Solo Cup,
Captained by Marc Gallant and Team Gold Rush, Captained by Rob Campbell. The
huge crowd was going wild throughout due to the aggressive play. In the end,
Team Red won 2-1 in the very last second of overtime.Brad Gould scored the winning goal
on a mad dash rush down the ice firing a cannonading drive that went in unassisted.
Brad was named game MVP. Congratulations to Team Red !!
Both goalies,Scott Parker of team Red and Rich Krummenacher of team Gold played
outstanding, making many superb saves throughout the game.
I want to take this time to thank my Captains for their leadership throughout the year.
Gerry Cassidy and Marc Gallant are stepping down after years of service..Thank you both.
Dan Brennan and Jason Coughlin will be coming on board nest season and Rob Campbell,
Ian Thompson, Jim Amesbury and Shawn Chisholm will be returning for another year of “fun”
Thank you also to our Pool Convenor, Bobby Paton and my Co Convenor Bob Riddell for all
their work this season. Paul Pearson did an amazing Stats job and organized our year end
banquet and BBQ. Thank you Paul.
The banquet takes place this Wednesday, April 17th at 7PM at the Club. It will be a great time
and is all free due to ticket sales supporting the BOHC and the Carpenter Hospice. Guys you
better show up or you will be talked about !
Please remember to register for next season before May 1st to retain your seniority.
Lastly, the BOHC General Meeting takes place on Monday,June 24th at the Club.
This is a good way to see how the league is run and voice your opinion on Club Issues.
I hope you all have a healthy , safe summer and we will see you in the Fall.
