WELCOME TO ANOTHER YEAR

Gentlemen,
Welcome to our new and exciting Green Divison.
With the numerous players moved from Black to Green, 28 in total,
plus players moved up from Blue and 16 players moved down to Blue
we have almost three complete new teams in the Green Division this year.
Let me introduce the Green Divison executive to you.
Convenor - Don Jamieson
Co -Convenor - Bob Riddell
Pool Convenor - Bobby Paton
Captains - Team #41 - Ken Burns - Green Hornets ( turning to Grey later this season)
- Team #42 - Shawn Chisholm - White Outs
- Team #43 - Gerry Cassidy - Teal Rex
- Team #44 - Marc Gallant - Black Beer’ds
-Team #45 - Rob Campbell - Solid Gold
- Team #46 - Jim Amesbury - Red Rage
With captains like these we will have a great season with lots of fun both on
the ice and in the dressing room.Yes they did pick their own team names.
Therefore , keep your heads up when you are playing the Red Rage…lol
The new schedule has been posted with very few games being played this
season in either Skyway or Aldershot arenas..which is great.
There will be more Saturday games played this year due to their popularity
last season…Hopefully we will again get to watch the mighty Habs beat the
lowly leafs ( please note the lack of capitals in the word leafs…lol) at our
terrific Club House - Hector’s, after our Saturday games.
Marc Gallant will once again be co-ordinating our HNIC Saturday buffets.
Terrific job last season Marc.
Lastly guys we are here for fun, a little exercise and a lot of laughs…
There will be little likely hood that the NHL scouts will be calling….
Wait a sec…actually Brad Gould may still have a chance.lol
So have a great season, no rough stuff and enjoy everything about the Green
Divison.
If your have any questions, feel free to ask any of the executive and serious
issues should be taken up with your Captains who will bring them to myself
and Bob Riddell.
