The End of Season One 2009-2010

The end of Season One is rapidly approaching. With only two games to go I would like to extend hearty congratulations to Gold Angles for winning Season One. Captain Steve and the crew really poured it on in the second half of the season to distance themselves from the pack. But, are we seeing chinks in that golden armour as Season One winds down? Only the Round Robin (aka Season Two) will tell.

The Round Robin starts on April 7. The best of luck to all. Please check the schedule as there has been some changes to ice time.

The Annual Awards Night is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28 at Hectors starting at 7:00pm. Please save the date and plan to attend as we reflect on the past season and have a few laughs at everyones expense. As always, Pool Players are welcome to attend. We are also looking for raffle prizes, so if you are in a position to donate something to the cause please let your Captain, myself or Doug Mclean know or flip one of us an e-mail.

As you have seen, BOHC is in a full court press to increase membership in order to add an new division for the 2010 - 2011 Season. Response has been encouraging but as of yet no decision has been made as to where the new division will be placed. This will become more clear after the registrastion process.

And speaking of registration, DON’T FORGET TO REGISTER. You can register at anytime between now and April 30 by completing the Current Member Registration Form in full (including signing it) and dropping it off at Hectors along with your cheque. With the new HST coming in July, you can avoid the HST impact for next season by paying in full by April 23. Full Time Fees are $535.00 prior to April 23 or $580.00 after April 23. All Pool Players who are interested in playing full time next year should register as a full time player. DON’T WAIT FOR THE LAST MINUTE, REGISTER NOW!!!
