HOW DO YOU KNOW YOUR A GOLD DIVISION PLAYER?

You know you’re playing in the gold Division when:
1. All the handicap parking spots at the rink are full
2. The dressing room smells like a liniment factory.
3. It takes twice as long as normal to put on the equipment due to the assortment of braces and supports required.
4. The conversation in the dressing room focuses on doctors and diseases rather than sex and alcohol.
5. The referees can actually see better than the players.
6. The players can ignore the referees by simply turning of the hearing aid.
7. The coaches on the bench believe they should have played in the NHL but now feel they have to impart all that experience to their team.
8. There are more nitro bottles on the bench than water bottles.
9. The players all have to reach for their glasses to read this.
10. Your stick is made of wood and if there’s a curve in it you think the stick is ruined.
11. Pub Night is after the CPP cheque comes.
12. You take the wrong stick home and re-tape it.
13. You’re not sure the underwear you’re wearing is yours.
14. You take your skate guards off after the first shift and no one notices.
15. You have to use your inhaler before each shift.
16. When a player falls down on the ice play is stopped to allow both teams to help him back on his feet.
17. Right after the game you don’t remember if you won or lost and you don’t care.
