Gold Division news:
We have had a lot of broken bones this year Gary Hirst, Dave Prentice, Doug Lawson, and the latest Ken Layland. Be careful out there!
The goal division entered 4 teams in the 33rd BOHC Annual Invitational Tournament as usual. The competition was good and the teams seemed to be well matched. Thanks to the Captains of the 4 teams for doing a good job. Also thank you to the organizers lead by Kelts Beggs for doing a great job and I hear a significant amount of money has been collected for charity.
We are looking for volunteers in the Gold Division. We will be welcoming old captains and new captains for the 2009-2010 season. We are also looking for a Pool Convener, and a co convener to help out. Please let Bob Docherty or Dave Confozi know if you’re interested.
The year end Gold Division award night is coming up, suggestions for awards is appreciated. Scott Cameron is rumored to have a suggestion for a player on his team for his scoring ability. Also anyone that can provide prizes please give them to Bob Docherty or Ralph Deblauw.
There are about 12 games left, mathematically 3 teams are still in the hunt for first place. The Green, White, Teal, Black, Blue, and Red teams will make the playoffs this year for sure.
Also, thanks to the goalies in the Gold division for playing for other teams when needed. They have realy stepped up and helped out. Thanks again
