Start of the Season

After 7 games only 5 points separate first from worst. All games seem to be competitive and we have 4 teams tied with the lowest goals against average. Our leading scorer is Larry Code from team 52 with 11 points.

Overall, penalties are down; but, there are still a few players that continue to push the envelope. Our policy is that if any player receives 10 minor penalties they will receive a letter, two more penalties and the player will sit for one game. We hope that this is not necessary and would encourage the habitual offenders, who represent 80% of the total penalties called, to cut back on their aggressive play.

All teams are reminded that the Ham & Turkey tickets are due back by the middle of November. The proceeds of the ticket sales benefit local charities and help to reduce our annual registration fees. Your captains need your assistance to sell these tickets so please give them your support for this worth while cause.

Blue Divisions Pub Night is scheduled for Friday, November 25th at Hectors. Please join your teammates for some pizza, wings and refreshments after your games on the 25th. Again this year the games will be available on Video for your viewing pleasure.
