The second half of the season has officially started and I want to wish all the team’s success in the New Year. Please note the schedule has been revised so please check the web site before heading out to your next game.

The Invitational tickets have been given out to the captains. This fund raiser not only promotes Burlington Old-timers and the City of Burlington, it also helps to reduce our membership fees. With this in mind the League is offering a free pub night to the team that sells the most tickets in their Division or if all six teams sell 10 books of tickets then the whole division will get a free pub night catered by the Executives. Last year the Red team received a free pub night. This year let’s see if we can make it happen for everyone in the Division.

Our scoring leaders remain the same with Mark, Geoff and Nick all from the Red Team leading the way. However they may want to start looking over their shoulders as Rick Decoste and Larry Code are making strong bids to take over the scoring lead…

All of our previously injured players are back on the ice and helping their teams compete. However, there still seems to be an inordinate gap between the first place clubs and the last place clubs which will have to be addressed to ensure that all teams are competitive.
