Convener: Roger Starr Co-Convener: Richard Ward Pool Convener: Brian Bodnarok
We are off to a great start in the Blue Division, teams are close with 12 games played there is only 9 points separating First and Sixth place. We have a new Pool Convener Brian Bodnarok who is doing a great job. Pool Player’s are very important to the strength of are league, so get to know these player’s and make sure we welcome them all to are teams. With the season starting with some divisions short player’s we have had to move player’s to Green Division and have had Player’s coming from the Grey Division. All are fitting very well and there seems to be a faster level of play this season. I would like to thank are captains this year for all there co-operation. Your captains this year 41 Dave Churchill, 42 Berto Camara, 43 Tomi Koskinen, 44 Glenn Pearson, 45 Robert Lambert, 46 Art Portelli this group of captains strive to insure all player’s and games are organized and fun for all, truly a great group of guys. Just a reminder that the tickets for Ham & Turkey draw should be well under way and monies to be collected and handed in at the club house. I would like to remind all player’s to make sure equipment is updated and fits well. I would also like to bring to every ones attention that the play seems very competitive this year with most games very close. Tempers do flair up a touch, it is up to all to make sure we play safe and respect are fellow members. We have noticed some foul language and chatter once a penalty has been accessed, this will not be tolerated if the referee does not call the infraction the conveners will be glad to oblige. At the end of the evening we are all pretty good friends, so please be respectful of the rules and make this a great year for all player’s. Player’s that have excessive penalties or demonstrate unsafe play will receive a call and possible a suspension. Gentlemen play hard and play safe. If you have some suggestions or ideas that might help are Division or League we are there and more then willing to listen.
Sincerely Roger Starr
