Blue Division is off to a great start with 11 games in the vault the play has been very close (most of the time). As Convenors we are really impressed with the level and intensity of play. The captains are as always doing a great job organizing there teams and being well prepared at game time. The penalty minutes have been kept to a minimum. We have had 2 minor situations Foul Language & Aggressive Play neither of these will be tolerated and as a result the player’s both had an evening OFF. Gentlemen we want you to play hard and enjoy the game. Remeber are number one priority as always is SAFE play this is Old Timer Hockey. The Ham & Turkey tickets have all be distributed and hopefully all tickets will be Sold and handed in for the draw, remeber you can win a free Pub night . We will be balancing the teams the week of November 2 to November 12/09 not to worry with the point spread of only 9 and most games being quite competive there will be only minor movement.. Are first Pub Night is scheduled for Friday November 13/09 so get out and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow player’s. Pool Player’s are always welcome and encouraged to attend the Pub Nights. We have heard at times the refereeing is a bit inconsitant , please be patient everyone is trying hard to get it right. A minor issue when a call is made they will not change the call, they can’t and shouldn’t. What ever the issue penalties go to the box and be quite, we have asked the referees to call an additional penalty or rejection from the game to player’s that want to yell obsenities.
